WRITE SHOOT CREATE
When an image is as sharply focused as it can be, photographers and cinematographers describe it as “tack”.
It takes dedication to clarity, an eye for detail, and expert technical knowledge to achieve. The same is true of all effective communication: a clear idea and focused message, attention to detail, and professional expertise.
Tack Video Production is a full-service partner who brings strategy, concept, writing, and design together with creative direction and the technical know-how to deliver sharp video content to your audience.
Gather information, create ideas, and deliver a working plan. We develop elements that
convey information, emotion, and purpose through scripts or interviews, titles, and design. Then we visualize the production with shot lists, schedules, and storyboards. Doing the prep work at the outset gains insight, uncovers potential trouble, and allows for creative opportunities.
With solid pre-production in place, we can make the most of our shoot schedule, working quickly and efficiently without any disruption to busy locations. We have a small footprint but can scale to whatever the project scope calls for. Multiple cameras, steady cams, sliders, and cranes, plus aerial and timelapse capabilities ensure dynamic possibilities for post-production.
In post-production, all of our planning, ideas, and execution come together to create an experience. The tools we use are industry-standard: editing, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects. Every shot is selected to tell the story and convey the larger idea. We’ll explain the creative choices we’ve made and discuss feedback to sharpen the focus and the intended message.
"Rob and Spencer make an excellent team and produce even better work. So far they have created four videos for our organization. One required copywriting, voiceover, and lots of b-roll. They nailed the brand story and captured great footage! For the others, Tack conducted and captured a dozen interviews, organizing clips and b-roll into three really informative and intriguing stories. They will not disappoint. I recommend them constantly!"
